Question for someone approaching undergrad

Hi. I‘m beginning to look around at colleges, and of course I intend to go down the track for a legal education. I’m very fascinated by law, and the fields surrounding it as well. Furthermore, I would like to familiarize myself with law before studying pre-law, not much, but just so I’m a little more familiar before I begin this stage of my life. I was wondering if any of you may have any good recommendations for books, or anything of the sort, that can help me familiarize myself with this field a little more intimately. Thanks.

Cleveland Orchestra Dress Code

I will be attending a show at the Cleveland Orchestra in August, and will be sitting fairly close to the stage, namely 3-4 rows back. I enjoy formal events, and wish to wear black tie. I want to make sure, however, that it wouldn’t be too out of place. If not in August, is it more common to see black tie in the colder months?

Hi, I’m considering applying to Miami, but my composite ACT is a 23. I did pretty well in English, Reading, etc (didn’t take writing but I’m sure I could do that in a retake), and I could probably do even better the next time I take it. Math, meanwhile, I did quite bad in. Regular grades within school are pretty good as well, basically all A’s with an occasional B thoughout the entirety of high school. I’ve done a lot of extracurriculars, including sports, clubs, NHS, etc. as well, and have even been the founder for some clubs.

I‘m thinking of going for Political Science or English, so nothing STEM. I’ve heard that the school is test blind. Should I be worried about not getting in? Should I add my ACT scores to my application?
