Full 2026 preseason preview for Missouri State, with returning production, the portal, a two-deep and the schedule.
Hey all. I spent the offseason building a full 2026 preseason preview for every FBS team, each with its own writeup. Here's the Missouri State one
https://www.sports.mainmarket.com/college-football-preview-2026?team=ncaaf-most
It's got the returning production breakdown, the portal ins and outs, a projected two-deep, the schedule with model win probabilities, and a season projection.
Heads up, you might hit the paywall after the first page. Don't worry, I'm not charging reddit people for this, don't want to be an ass. Use the promo code LEECORSOROCKS and it opens up the entire thing.
So, what'd I get wrong? Casey Woods takes over for his first year and Jacob Clark's 3,244 yards and 28 touchdowns are gone, replaced by Duke transfer Henry Belin IV, who has 22 career passing yards. That offense was 16th nationally in passing yards per game last season, and the line that has to protect the new guy gave up 52 sacks. Only 26% of production returns, 19 came in through the portal, and the model has the Bears 110th. Does Woods hold 7-6 together, or is this the year it resets?
I'll be in the comments.
Should I go to the Farmer?
I’m currently a rising sophomore who's torn between supply chain and teaching. All of my friends say that I shouldn’t go into supply chain because the school is elitist and nepotistic, but I really like the money I could make. I’ll admit, I do worry about fitting in the business school because I’m a first-gen, commuter, and more of an introvert. Maybe some of my reasoning could be childish, but I just wanted to hear some feedback.
Welcome Weekend Fireworks
Do people actually go/are going to the fireworks? I’m not a super huge fan of them I just think they’re loud and anticlimactic. I figured at lot of students would be going to the bars that night instead.
Best welcome weekend activities
Lol im the type of perskn who has to plan every second out at all time lol I was thinking the football practice but idk
Also is the class of 2030 lunch just like scheduled lunch time for me or do u HAVE to be there at the scheduled time?
Any place to park after time slot for move in day?
I want to be able to hang with my parents after our allotted time slot/after my dorm is set up, is there anywhere we’re allowed to park? Of course we wouldn’t be in the dorm out of respect for my roommate, but yeah. Also anything closer to the main area is preferable but not required because my mom is currently in a boot for a foot injury. There’s a solid chance that she, at least, might be able to be dropped off by my stepdad while he does other stuff, but I don’t think my dad can do that because my stepmom has a very unyielding work schedule. Or are they not allowed to hang, even for just an hour for lunch, because of the welcome-weekend?
Also, very unrelated, but what self-defense weapons are allowed on campus? I can’t imagine a single reason they wouldn’t allow mace or something like that, but I just wanted to ask so I can be protected should the absolute worse happen, but not get in trouble and such
Will I be accepted/what I need to do to get accepted
Hey all. Currently going into my senior year of high school and looking to major in finance. Honestly just looking for what I can do to get accepted. Be brutally honest please. This IS kinda my future maybe…
My current stats are:
The good stats:
3.4 gpa
My super scored sat score is around a 1230 I think
Dual enrolled in a community college (I’m only taking one class for it)
Joining the ROTC program for the air national guard
I’m taking crazy advanced finance, business, and accounting classes.
I have around 24 hours of community service.
5th year student council member and have around 40 hours of extra service there
Im the current president of the investors society in my school. (Not many members)
I could probably get 3-4 good letters of recommendation from my principal, vice principal, and finance teachers
Started a drop shipping business at 15 making around 500-600 dollars profit
The bad stats:
2 lunch detentions on record (high school maybe both sophomore year I can’t remember. I cheated on a test on one then on another I left the school for lunch but I came back I didn’t even know that was a rule tbh)
In school suspension (in middle school if that counts even)
Been average basically all my life. I tried to do a honors geometry course in sophomore year and I bombed it basically all year getting straight D’s maybe a C or two.
Same with French one in freshman year. I got like more C’s than D’s I think I got like 3 C’s and 1 D quarter wise. Maybe a B?? No clue.
I have no social life. No hobbies, sports, or anything of that matter.
Adding onto that I have no connections to Miami Ohio as a college or a place in general.
sumeshi?
i’m an incoming freshman trying to plan out my daily routine, i have plans to try all of the accessible food options on campus as a way to spice up life through the monotony of school work but several friends from other schools have given warnings against certain food groups. mainly chicken and sushi(or sushi like)foods, as their school was unreliable in the safety of serving such things. any upperclassmen have any experience regarding this? my biggest concern is sumeshi because i was lowk excited to have easy access to sushi/sushi bowls, although i am aware of the sushi place uptown as well.
What some stuff i need?
For dorm and class. Going shopping tommorow.
Dorm has a mini fridge thats about it no bathroom.
Also I had a question rn im not in the honors college I didn't apply to that one becaue I was scared I wouldn't get in. So after this year how do i get in the honors college?
