Question is- what is the silver lining in the background? What is the purpose? In your opinion, beneficial?

Working on 87 4runner and the rear window needs wires replaced. Where do I get these female spades?! They need to lock in and the ones from Amazon don’t lock in. Thank you

Circuit board for rear window 87 4runner isn’t working property. Is it worth cleaning up the soldier? How do I even do that??
