surface slope style with error check

My grading plans are often crowded so I'm always looking for style adjustments that reduce the clutter. I never show the +/- sign on my slope annotation. My surface slope arrows are intended to only point downhill.

Obvious issue with that is the chance of a reverse slope not showing correctly on the two point label style option.

So, my solution was to add a warning component to the label style that only appears when the slope label is pointing uphill... I have wingdings in red font and the component sign option set to "hide negative value"

Hoping this helps someone, but also curious if anyone has a better version of this type of dummy check...

Need help identifying my EDC

It has a lot of character. I use it all the time. I'm regarded as a hero by my kids whenever I pull it out to cut open an amazon box.

Not sure if anyone knows specifically what the model is called or what year? Or if this just a fake? Thanks

I need a new way of tracking emails that takes very few steps or is automated. I am a solo PE in land development and always have about 10 active jobs in the design phase and 3-5 in construction. Often each of these projects are a different set of consultants! I want a way to compartmentalize my emails but it feels like the busy work needed to keep track can't be kept up. So I end up manually searching and sorting my inbox which is hard to trust because the search will miss an email I need.

Anyone have a best practice that works well for them?
