Would recommend the Griffith biography written by Roger Joyce. Goes into deep detail about Griffith's terms as premier of Queensland during the late 19th century. Man was an energetic reformer and administrator. Queensland has had some great Premiers with Griffith, Ryan, Theodore and Gloss.

Have to say I think Neville Wran is a gold standard on what an Australian Premier can achieve.

Is doing law review really a thing in Australia? I know in America it is a big thing for law students there.

Recently got the Chifley biography written by David Day. Been looking for this one for 3 years. Flicked through it and it is definitely an interesting read.

Man had a very good sense of humour. Very entertaining to read about his cases and time on the bench.

Nearly done my law degree, but I will never forget the stress of those computer labs.

Going down a bit of a SCJ rabbit hole at the moment.

I know he didn't have the greatest performance as a prosecutors in the Nuremberg trials.

We have had some very accomplished writers that have made reading a case a pain or something more enjoyable.

Recently got his book Don Chipp: The Thirdman, I also have his third and final book Keep the Bastards Honest. Gonna keep my eye out for his second book Chipp.

I find him a very interesting figure to study, particularly the role he played in liberal politics during the 60's and 70's.
