How many people tried it, and how many rounds were you able to complete? I'm in pretty good shape, but all I could manage was two rounds, and by the third I already felt like I was going to throw up 😂. I printed out this picture, and every now and then I include this workout in my cardio.

It makes me laugh reading comments from all these tough guys from the military telling me that this is just a walk in the park for them, saying things like “we do much worse things in the army” and blah blah. Did I accidentally end up in an action movie with a bunch of badass guys?

I know what kind of challenges the military can put you through, and I know what three weeks of training in the SOF can look like, where you start doing various forms of cardio practically the moment you get off the bus, under psychological pressure, with a bag containing all your belongings held above your head throughout the entire “welcome”.

I was talking about one specific cardio workout that you absolutely cannot call an easy walk in the park, and then people start telling me that a 40 km march with a 30 kg backpack is harder. Of course it objectively is harder... But why make that comparison? Just to boost your ego and show everyone how tough you are? It looks ridiculous.

Interesting fact, by the way, related to the discussion about why Wildlands feels more alive than Breakpoint.

During development, there was a dedicated World Logic Designer, whose job was to ask questions like:

Why is the village built here?
Why do they grow coca here instead of corn?
Where does the water come from?
Why does the road go through this mountain pass?
Why is the village located exactly here?
Where do the locals get their water from?
How does the cartel affect this specific region?
What legends exist in this area?
Why is the cartel interested in this particular province?

He said that they first built the history of the country, then manually built the transportation network, then the economy, and only after that did they create the missions.

Only after all of that did they adapt the missions to Bolivia itself.

Many of the random events in the game involving the main character interacting with Bolivia were discussed with this person, whose responsibility was the logic behind why those events should happen in that specific place and at that specific time.

This is simply a discussion post about how much time people have spent with the game and how many small details they've noticed.

I've watched many videos and read many descriptions about the different kinds of details in the game, and all of it together is genuinely impressive.

One of the latest details I noticed, and one that stayed with me, is Nomad's behavior when aiming down his sights. When you release the aim button, Nomad briefly looks around, as if scanning the surroundings for additional danger. Animations like that were clearly designed as part of his personality—as traits of a professional, habits that were refined over many years until they became instinctive. That makes him feel more alive.

This post is simply a tribute to the developers of this game and to their attention to detail. We see all of it, and we appreciate it.

Another fact to add to the ever-growing pile of reasons why Ghost Recon Wildlands is better than Breakpoint

I almost got my ass kicked, but I managed to escape, even though I'm using the Spartan Mod on the highest difficulty. That was intense :)

The game is broken
