Ooops, All Baiman

To the poor souls who just got Baiman'ed 3 times in a row, including finishing with a rinshan honitsu shosangen, I am truly sorry. That was the most brutal East only round I've ever seen. I've never gotten such godlike opening hands in my life.

I was so drunk with power by the end that I almost went for the daisangen anyway.

MAKA Question

I'm East in South 4, losing badly. Only 3-4 tiles left. Hand is going nowhere, so I pon something and open my hand, locking me out of most yaku, but putting me in yaku-less tenpai, so hopefully we draw and I get another round or if I get very lucky haitei.

Doesn't work because toimen Tsumo's right after, but MAKA was 66/33 in favor of passing instead of opening my hand, in which I almost certainly would have lost.

Is MAKA not complex enough to take all that into account and was just going by tile acceptance?
