Silence robot, my plans are measured in hanemans, not Green Dragon 2 Dora

Hey everyone! As the title says, I just started playing the game and I'm totally lost on basically everything. I've been following some beginner guides on YouTube and practicing against the AI (mainly aiming for all simples and trying something new here and there)

Is this situation unusual or something? There were 6 tiles left, so I'm assuming nobody could win with those specific tiles?

I'm in a insane streak and went from saint 1 to saint 2 in less than 100 hanchans!

What's even worse is that Shimocha's hand was 1,3,4,6,7,9p; 3,3,3s; E,E,S,S + drew 4p.

Edit: upon further inspection we got tenpai in the same discard (the 11th: G and 5s respectively) and Shimocha was already holding both deal-in tiles. Actual 50/50.

He was 4th by a long shot south 3, all incredibly quick wins. I was riichi when I delt in and it put me from 2nd into 4th, below a guy who was playing a B... this guy needs to look both ways crossing the road for the next few days

WWYD here, I denied the Ron to go for the Yakuman. Maka hated this of course. (Though I still played A- and came in 3rd 🫠)

After 1272 games in Jade, I made it from Saint 1 to Saint 3. Now comes arguably the hardest part of the journey, I will take a small break but try to continue.

Its the top game btw.

Feels unreal. I though my streak would stop somewhere in expert 3 but managed to get to master. I started playing in February. Usually i get hardstuck silver/gold in other multiplayer games, so being able to get master in mahjong was really nice.

Hopefully i can survive in jade room. I still have to finish reading riichi book 1 and learn some mahjong theory.

- Riichi on T2 (kanchan wait of 2s so… I could have waited, ik)
- East drops 2p kan on t9 so I’m fucked
- I kan without a real reason (just panic) and then I think that the only result is that other players might have more doras when they’ll win (ronning by me of course)
- Now I see that Maka would have called kan, too? Why? We are far from hoping for a draw (it’s just the 2nd kan), so I really don’t get it.
