FOUR QUESTIONS about athens/campus from a prospective student!!!!!
hi!!! I'm Vin and i'm heading into college next year. OU is currently my top choice. I'm going to visit for a hotel room and a tour a couple of weeks from now and i have four questions!
one: are there any must-visit spots to go to/see while I'm there?? I already know about the supposed delights of insomnia cookies but I was wondering if there are any special spots on campus or in athens that are cool??
two: i'm debating on bringing a wheelchair because of some chronic pain issues i'm dealing with - is the accessibility okay?? i know it probably is on campus but what about athens itself? i can walk obviously but i do wanna know if it's better for me to not bring a wheelchair.
three: this is kind of less of a major question but i'm trans FTM, pretty visibly so, and I'm wondering how accepting the school is generally. I know they're pretty #woke (policies and those LGBTQ+ specific dorms they had??? have???) but it's a pretty huge part of my life and i don't necessarily wanna be jumped if i do get accepted
four: i know that theres a guaranteed admissions thing on the website with certain requirements - does anyone know if theres a deadline or a specific place (website or irl) im supposed to apply for it??? or is it just another policy??
