Just Venting about healthcare

Spent the last 4 years in and out of PT constantly being told just one more thing before I can get an MRI covered by insurance.

Finally had one scheduled from about 2 months ago for tomorrow morning. Just got a call that insurance hasn't approved it, and they will be rescheduling for July 7th.

I'm just so tired boss.

Edit: and for a late fun addition, this is not the first time this has happened more or less. I was given a date out of 9 months from receiving an MRI about two years ago after 3 months of PT. I stopped doing the PT because it wasn't helping, and because I hadn't done PT in the last six months by my appointment? No appointment approved.

Second edit: because why not. Another fun one is that in this most recent round of PT the insurance company claims they didn't get prior approval before I started PT, and (prescribed by my PCP) therefore they would cover nothing. When I called my doctors office, they said they don't know why approvals hadn't gone through. All because my health insurance is based in a different state than the one I work in? What are we doing boss.

It's amazing what mutual distrust of the neighbors will do for a budding friendship
