Siege usage

Hi lovely people,

Is it only me or mangonels and bombards are very effective in ranked? I’m gold 2 currently with 2 months in game only.

I main OOTD and tbh i just send my horsemen to harrass their siege and crossbows and its a gg, but when i add myself mangonels and bombards that adds so much value, especially because all games my opponent builds 3-4 keeps and i find it way better than using trebuchets..

Malians Civ

I’ve been seeing alot of double tc builds with farms only no cows, what’s the best to do for a newbie? Is single tc enough because malians eco is really good?

Which troops to train too?

Game disconnect

Until when we can wait to get the “reconnect” button in case you had network issues or electricity issue and u lose the game and can’t reconnect and waste 20-30 minutes without any reward?

I’m getting cooked.

Hello villagers,

First of all i’m still a noob in this game, but have a great will and really motivated to learn.. I’ve been a Macedonian main as i’ve started around 3 weeks ago. Tried before than Ottomans and France.

I’m getting cooked at ranked as everyone really early rush me every single time and i feel like the Champions aren’t really good, Macedonian is OP if you really go to castle age, but i need y’all opinion.

Should i keep playing Macedonian and maybe try early vanguard training infantry/archers and delay castle push?

Or should i play a more rushing civ?

Ranked is TUFF..

Beat the hard and almost had the hardest AI.. so i wanted to try ranked,

First game i won got some dopamine rush, then lost 3 in a row. All games were being rushed at dark/feudal with minimum 5 infantry and 3 archers, and one sent villager to construct outpost next my gold lol (i’m macedonian civ)

You watch pro players barely touch each others, whats the catch here in low levels? Build barracks or stables in dark age?

New Player - Too much stuff with minimal explanation

Heya everyone,

The title is self explanatory, as I recently bought the game with couple of DLCs and have tried so far the French, Ottomans, and Macedonians (current civ).

There’s something that all youtubers do, play vs AI or a competitive game rewind and as a new player i have to memorize the millisecond training or upgrade he does.

Okay there’s guides and what so, but a video that explains where each upgrade is and when to do it is much better to comprehend.

Another question that comes to my mind is let’s say the you’ve gone to castle age from feudal. Do i keep on training the base infantry/archer/cav and upgrade them from veteran? Or i start training the new ones from castle age?

Then blacksmith upgrades come, and university, and eco upgrades, and and..

For example, there’s Hippo and there’s Riddari, there’s archer/crossbow/handcannonneer, there’s Atgeirmaor and there’s Varanian Guard..

Is there a youtuber or some video that plays solo or vs easy AI and talk in depth how to play a civ the correct way for a newbie?
