I heard a bunch of commotion in my backyard and I rushed out just in time to see a hawk swoop through the yard followed by a bunch of (I think) house sparrows. So I surmised that some sort of hawk incident must have happened.

Anyways, a Gray Squirrel kept making this sound (for several minutes afterward) and I’m not sure what the meaning of it is. The squirrel hasn’t moved (it’s been about 10 minutes since the kerfuffle), if that’s helpful.
