Note: Before you try to educate me about peanuts, they do NOT get a lot. They each get a peanut or 2, and then I fill their food box with almonds, walnuts, seeds and fruits.

Hi! Could anyone tell if this is a young (this year's) or a grown up squirrel? The tail looks skinny but on the other hand it did not look particularly small. Unfortunately I did not have a full lineup of different ages of squirrels in one frame which would have made it easier ;)

This little one has been crying In this tree for over an hour and I am not sure what to do? There are a bunch of crows around - maybe they are signalling predators - but I am scared they are hurt. Anyone know what to do?

This sweet squirrel came to my balcony, when I saw his tail I was concerned. The first inch or two is his regular bushy black fur, then it thins out completely where you see the lighter fur. What could cause this?
Tried to get the best photos I could. I’ve never seen a squirrel with this fur pattern before, it looks like the end portion of his tail was given a complete haircut. Is this normal, is the squirrel likely ok?
