Do you think im actually going to get these?

I was one of the lucky very few who ordered these in August before they ran out, but now that the time has finally come I just have a weird feeling im not going to get these at all. Has anyone else been in shipping limbo for an order off amazon in August?

Overstimulated and defeated

Im so sad. Tomorrow is national cheesecake day and for weeks my work has planned for people to bring in cheesecake themed desserts (and other desserts for those who don't like cheesecake) so I thought id try this recipe off tiktok I've been drooling over for weeks for Strawberry Cheesecake Cookies.

Sunday I printed out the recipe, got the ingredients, and made sure today was planned so I could come straight home from work-bake-and go to bed.

So I make the cheesecake filling, it barely results in half the amount its supposed to. Okay, no big.

I make the strawberry jam, its definitely WAY more than the 1/3 cup it was meant to be "condensed into".

Then it was time for the cookie dough, its 9pm, Ive barely started, im completely out of spoons (mentally) and im ready to cry. My fiance convinces me its okay to stop and pick something up instead.

Im sad and I feel like the recipe wasnt right and the prep time (2 hours) wasnt accurate either.

But I also know I didnt think about how I chose something waaay above my skill level and should have maybe done a test run on a day off.

Im about to go to bed but I really just wanted somewhere to vent about this failed recipe where people understood.

But hey, at least I have delicious homemade strawberry jam for toast in the morning I guess!

How does this even work?

How can I have nine 5 star, one 4 star, and one 1 star yet my review average is at low? Shouldn't it at least be moderate?

La roche-posay cicaplast mains hand cream, hives

I hope this is allowed to post here, honestly i really just want to warn others and maybe see if my hypothesis is correct as well so I can get better hand cream suggestions.

Context: I have already very dry and sensitive skin, as im really pale, but ive never ever had a bad reaction to ANY skin care products, soap, or detergent.

I wear factory gloves that tear my hands apart and dry the ever living crap out of them even more, especially since i have to remove them very often. An associate at Ulta recommended that I try cicaplast hand cream because her dad also works in a factory and has awfully dry hands from the gloves.

I was wowed at the immediate moisturizing that my hands received from the lotion. Fast forward about a month of semi frequent use (maybe twice or three times a week), and now im getting hives specifically on my fingers. When I do research im presented with suggestions of bug bites, allergies to metals, or eczema. Well theres no bug bite marks, I dont interact with any metals on a daily basis (at least not at the areas where theres bumps), and i dont have eczema symptoms.

My partner suggests, maybe ive been using a new skincare product, and the only new thing is the hand cream and come to think of it ive been putting it exactly on the spots where these bumps are.

After doing more research, it seems that a lot of others have had poor reactions to the face care products they have but not before having some of the best skin care result they've ever had, which sounds a lot like my situation. But i havent been able to find anyone whos used the hand cream specifically with these results.

Has anyone else used their hand cream with the same results? Are there products you found better success with?

I've posted pictures of the bumps, but theyre difficult to see in pictures.
