Does this actually work?

Its much faster then resetting but does it actually work like soft resetting? Or do I need to keep resetting?

Random bad egg?

I put my team in the pc to do a glitch (all my team was legit) but when I came back, my level 40 dragonair had turned into a bad egg idk how since I got it at the gambling center with the coins (like I said all my pokemon are legit and I dont cheat at all just a few harmless glitches) so is there a specific reason I got a bad egg? (Any tips would be nice)
