Shinwa Asian Cuisine - Combo E

It’s $14.75 now??? I paid $16.66 for mine including tax today. This is truly a recession indicator.

Still the same amount of food though, so it remains a good value

Vyvanse/Adderall works really well when I eat pizza???

Title...

I don't understand why but whenever I get the pizza on my university campus in the morning or early afternoon, my medication activates really well and helps me focus. Maybe it's the grease or the composition of the ingredients or something? This isn't a joke, it genuinely is so much better for me than eating fruits, bread, scrambled eggs, or like, shawarma (even though I love eating that)...

Do the amphetamine-class of ADHD medication use a certain ingredient in pizza really well to metabolize? But even then it genuinely metabolizes perfectly for me, pizza usually doesn't make my heart race or give me the Vyvanse shits. I'm genuinely so baffled but I have to keep eating pizza so I can study efficiently. Even something like a protein shake doesn't really help the same way a pizza does. It isn't completely satiating either, just like one extra large slice will do, and I'm a pretty big guy.

I live with my non-ADHD roommates and sometimes they see me eating pizza for lunch several times a week and ask me if I'm doing okay. idk what to tell them I sound completely insane LOL

And I am not Italian!

US co-ops / cali-or-bust fatigue

I've been hearing more and more often from my classmates that they don't want to go to the US for their co-ops anymore due to political tensions, ICE, other discrimination, etc... and I have to agree too, even as someone who's been there twice, as I just feel a little out of place or on edge when I'm there. I just keep going back because I get more US interviews than Canadian ones at this point. The Canadian job market is genuinely so garbage for technology jobs and especially hardware.

I used to go to this super large mall in the bay area every friday with the other co-interns at the company, and a couple weeks after my internship ended, there was a shooting in the mall. My buddy who did a co-op in LA told me about how he would bike past ICE agents frequently on the way to work. During my second internship in the bay area there was a targeted shooting about 100ft away from where I lived. It's just stuff like that which makes me more and more uneasy...

Anyone else switch from cali-or-bust mindset to this?
