Heat causing non charging

I seem to notice in the heat of the day, if the mower goes back to charge after mowing, it will say charging not detected. But if you let it sit there, and it cools off, it will start charging. Am I late to the party on this diagnosis? Seems like the unit being too hot is stopping it from charging?

Firmware positioning update

I’ll give Lymow a little credit, positioning is better with this firmware, but in some instances it’s way off still. Just depends on where the mower has to travel. Once again though, my original Lymow ones rarely had position issues like the one +s do.

Position drift

Had to replace my Lymow Ones due to various issues. One +s arrived and their positioning is terrible. Can’t navigate right. My Ones were under tree cover with no issues and as soon as these hit the trees they’re all over the place. Anyone having similar issues?

RTK Issues

I’m having drifting and weak RTK on two replacement units I just received. Trying to figure out if it’s the units or the RTK. Screenshot is of the current status sitting on the charger directly under the RTK as high up on the roofline as I could get and this spot has worked fine since I received my first Kickstarter unit. Let me know what you think.

Charging issue- solved

As I said in a previous post yesterday charging completely quit on Lymow one and had been slowing down to a creep before that. Here’s what I’ve found. Attached image is of the charging connections inside the mower.

Top pins are all negative bottom pins are all positive.
Left connection - negative comes from a relay that connects to the negative charging contact- positive comes directly from the charging contact.
Middle is output to the battery- assuming it’s BMS
Right connector is output that charges the battery.

What I found was there was continuity between the left side input and middle and right side outputs on all pins except from positive input to positive output to charge the battery.

I can only assume there’s some solder that came loose on the other side that broke the continuity.

My solution-since it was on the positive side that didn’t pass through anything and it was really a direct route passing through some connection- I jumped the wire from the positive charging contact and spliced it into the positive battery wire.

Now charging incredibly fast. As I saw in someone’s video, the only downside of this will be it will always show as charging, even if it’s not. But that’s fine.

Charging help

Recently my battery has stopped charging. The charging station doesn’t give me an indication that it’s charging but the app says it’s charging and it announces it’s charging. I know I have 39.2v all the way to the relay inside the unit. It’s there where I’m not sure. The relay from every test I’ve done seems to be functioning.

Full disclosure I did top charging mod but again I know I’m getting 39.2v through the charger all the way into the unit to the relay.

Return/Replacement

My Lymow one plus is being replaced. Have my shipping label. RTK was mentioned of not having to be returned but what about the charging station battery? Does anyone know if they want that back?
