Paul Mitchell School experience

I’m so done with this school I’m at 600 hours and I’ve learned nothing other than what core taught me. When you ask a teacher to teach you how to do something (their entire job and what they are being paid for) they tell you to look at your apps which basically have video tutorials which is not what I’m paying this school for. It’s overpriced, the administration, OOOOOOOh the administration there. I had one teacher threaten to take my hours away from me despite me being there and the administration did nothing about it. They went along with it instead. The administration is always defending their staff and does not look out for the wellbeing of the students. Multiple other people have complained at my school about one teacher and nothing is being done. Even in core I had problems with this school, and their unprofessionalism. They would make my class sit there for 8 hours doing nothing but being on our phones, because of the fact that they introduced another class into our class in the middle of us doing stuff and so they focused on catching them up instead of us. When I complained they told me that I should be watching my videos on my apps and studying for 8 hours. When I told them nobody else does that they said “you don’t always do what everybody else does, their wrongdoings don’t make it right” I’ve had such a frustrating experience from day one with this school and so desperately wish I picked a different school. The biggest thing is I’ve learned next to nothing while at this school, I’m CONFIDENT I’ll fail my state boards, and I have spent SO much money. Another thing is, speaking from personal experience, their products do not work that well. And we aren’t allowed to use our own products thus limiting us to only learning how to use theirs. Anyways rant over but seriously consider if this is the school for you if you’re considering going here. Don’t know if it’s like this at all the locations but at least at mine it is. I’m about to drop out and I don’t know what to do.
