How long did you breastfeed?

Of course some of us can’t breastfeed at all, others only a little, combined feeding and whatnot. But how long was right for you ? Weeks? Months, years?
Love to hear your experiences

Baby Rocker

My boy is obsessed with anything that moves, sways, swings or rocks him - preference the car - awake or asleep. He does his namesake Lewis Hamilton proud 🤣 with that - what are you using? Mamaroo? Joie dreamer/ Serina - and whatnot - so may out there which one to go for?
Id love to know - which one worked for you?

When was the last time someone asked you this?

How is the baby- the question anyone and everyone asks. But when was the last time anyone genuinely asked how YOU are?
Wether you gave birth naturally, elective c-section- or ended up like me in an emergency c-section - I don’t think anyone has asked me how I am? How I’m recovering, do I need help or anything alike.granted I have no one close by so let’s ignore the do you need help in my case. But what has your experience brenn?
I’m 9 week postpartum and because I am self employed I don’t have the luxury of maternity leave - I had 3 week and I was back full time on my feet. I own and run a B&B that is in its first season- I didn’t know I was pregnant when i made this move
Yes the baby is fine and healthy- but why’s no one asking mum how she is?

Can they be saved?

Well, I have or better had these beautiful Lillies growing, in the last 5 days after some decent rain all of them fell as if a bulldozer went over them - it’s a pretty sad sight - I was so proud and the next morning carnage - none of the stems are broken. Anything I can do to? Or was that it for the year ?

Am I the only one?

Thy say babies cant hate or love yet - but im certain this is wrong- my child, 7 weeks old, hates me. I’m literally the only one he will absolutely push away, crying none stop, anyone else? It’s like butter wouldn’t melt. There’s no exception times either. Remove him from me and he’s happy. I hold him? All hell breaks out. Perhaps they can sense people that aren’t good for them. It’s kind of been always like that, I’ve been someone who few people want around. “I’m too different, whenever people get the chance they have bullied me, So i ended up pretty lonely in life with very few people round me. and it turns out even my child has no interest in me. Which is sad since I try my very hardest. He’s got very little choice, he’s stuck with me. But I find it very difficult to bond with him knowing he just does not want me. So yes I’m certain even babies this young have a sense of rejection for people. I envy those mothers that are the everything for their babies.

6 week old not sleeping

Help - truly needing help. I’ve a 6 week old - every other day he refuses to sleep - and by that I mean day or night - today as an example - he fell asleep at 11:30 pm last night - woke at 2:40 am for a feed and then again at 4:30 am and since he had about a total of 1 hour sleep - I do combined feeding - so I tried to nurse him to sleep, wearing him, swaddling, placing him on my chest, rocking, white noise, brown noise, car rides, walking him. I’m at my wits end. He used to not do this until about 2 weeks ago. Anyone here with this issue? Cause I’d also like more than an hour sleep a day. Because I’m also working full time. Only had 3.5 weeks off. Can’t afford longer - but I suppose that’s irrelevant. Any tips ? Is there anything I’m missing?
He feeds every 3 hours ish. And that side is ok. No fever. No puking.
