Type me? I think FN lines with a touch of FG playfulness. 5’6” Long arms and legs, narrow hips. Big hands and feet.

As the title suggests, I’m leaning towards FN (or SN) because the clothing lines work well on me, though my height at 5’6” puts me at the lower limit of FN vertical. ChatGPT suggested I’m in the “natural” family and heavily leaned towards FN with a touch of FG playfulness (I’m a warm spring color palette). I really don’t like tailoring, high necks, geometric or boxy cuts and do best with some low visual weight to balance out my broad shoulders.

Curious what the analysis tool says!

Edited: changed “computer” to analysis tool

Edited again to add: before having a baby/turning 40 I had more of a waistline and booty so I also questioned SN?

Am I one of you? FN or FG (or other)

I’m 5’6” and 125 lbs.

FN wardrobe tends to look better on me IMO but this is all new to me and I’m tired of buying the wrong clothes 🙃

ETA: Is it possible to be a combo? I just had a baby and became midlife and I’m exploring how to dress without my youth lol. At 5’6” I’m on the height cusp but I really look terrible in FG clothing. Anything boxy, cropped without significant lower body balance, tailored, geometric or high neck makes me want to scream.

I love bright colors (I’m a bright spring) and think maybe I’m 80% FN with the playful tomboyishness of FG (20%).

Curious if anyone else has blended types or how you’ve dealt with being on the cusp of types?

Help me improve curb appeal

We’re DIYers gearing up to plant our front yard after several long years of interior projects. It feels nice to put finishing touches on, but we don’t agree on everything. I’m exhausted from researching and would love your opinions and renders on all things curb appeal!

Pic 1 is the house in question and pics 2-7 are inspiration.

Where would you put lights and house numbers?

3x boulders and flagstone are being delivered this week for a path and texture. Where would you place them?

We’re all about SoCal native and water wise plants. Currently thinking: 1 candelabra cactus, 1 dwarf lime in front of the hose, 2 aloe trees far left and far right, an Australian willow front right, drifts of deer grass, feather grass, and blue fescue, agave near the rocks, a few sages and ground covers and plenty of lighting.

Would you update the column?

What color would you paint the front door/entire exterior (we probably won’t change it but suggestions welcome).

Water feature near the porch in front of the electrical?

I’m not a fan of symmetry but I love balance.
