No air in AC
I have a 2008 4runner V6. The AC usually runs fine but every once in a while, it stops blowing air. I turn the car AC off for maybe 20 minutes and then it starts blowing. I noticed this happens when its running on medium or lower. If its working fine on high, I can run it as long as I want without an issue. Once it gets to cold and I bring the fan to medium for less air, it slowly starts to decrease the amount of air within a time span of about 10 minutes when there is almost no air flowing through the vents. I can hear the fan still running but it sounds loud as I imagine the air isn't flowing through as easily. Its hard to troubleshoot as it happens randomly.
It just happened again as I was getting home and tried troubleshooting it. The fan motor is working fine on all levels low-high. The little module on the left also works and does turn the dial to switch where the AC blows. I removed the cabin filter and there's still no air blowing through the vents even tho I see the fan running. I removed the module that turns the dials and manually moved them all but still no air.
Not sure what else I can troubleshoot. I turned the car off for maybe 30 minutes while I came to eat and went back and tested and its blowing strong again. Any idea what else I can do to troubleshoot or if there's another reason why it would stop blowing air through the vents?
