Sorry to double post in this group but I have things to say ig 😅
We're hosting a punk Halloween fundraiser benefit thingy and we're looking for musicians, drag performers, whatever entertaining act who wants to participate :)
Lmk if you're interested!
Least we can do is show up and speak out
edit: can I just tell y'all what obviously is not a solution and not have to repeatedly provide a blueprint for what is, JFC.
I'm going to just say it one more time. all the money we are spending on policing homeless people, arresting them, re-arresting them, jailing them could instead be used to house them. housing has been proven to be the solution it's not my fault I can't understand it for you.
There are plenty of empty buildings, not to mention all of the short-term rentals we have. If the city would actually spend some time addressing the housing crisis instead of these Band-Aid measures maybe we would actually get somewhere
My friends and I are hosting a pride event in traverse City and want to invite folks from here to come join us! 💞

Hellooo
I'm currently halfway to my goal for financial aid for the recovery time I'll need after my top surgery.
If you could share this or donate it would mean a lot to me!
