I'm trying to add an outlook email address (A) as a recovery email to my Gmail account (B) but the request is going to a completely different Gmail account (C) that also belongs to me. I receive a Gmail notification (B) that the request has been sent to the outlook email address (A), but it hasn't been sent, and I receive an email in the other Gmail (C) saying that the first Gmail (B) wants to add this Gmail (C) as the recovery account. How can this be so? There is no similarity by any stretch of the imagination between the different email addresses. I've gone through this procedure several times, and it's the same result each time.
