The haters all want to say that Charlie was a horrible person and partner in S2.

While I can say she wasn’t the ideal character, I’d offer a single piece of evidence that puts it all into perspective and showcases her greatest strengths:

The moment when she looks over to Vaggi while they’re visiting Carmella.

Vaggi‘s memories of being an exorcist bubble up to the surface and she starts having PTSD. Charlie looks over to her and almost places her hand on her shoulder before flinching away.

Even thought her pride is still flaring inside of her, a seed of humility is planted and her love and kindness start to kick in.

”Am I hurting the one I love? Have I been too wrapped up in myself,” These thoughts and more must have run through her mind.

That one moment allows her to stop, listen to Vaggi, humble herself, and gain the strength needed to save the day and her dream!

And all from a glance! Now that’s some good storytelling!

Meanwhile, Vox’s ego and vanity propel him to strip his support system away from him because his pride will now allow him to stop being ‘brighter’ for one second!

So, anyone else share in this opinion?

Finally got around to watching what is often called ‘the worst episode of the series so far!’

Honestly, I didn’t think it was all that bad. Granted, it’s by no means a perfect episode. All the characters seem to be guided more by base emotion rather than logic which I think was the point of the episode. But the musical numbers were fun, Millie was great in it, and I had a good time.

So, any of you also like this black sheep of the series?

So I think that one critical aspect of the haters is they are looking at an incomplete show and trying to cast an overall judgement on the series without full context.

I believe it to be better to judge each individual season within its own context for now and then cast an overall opinion when the show ends.

So what do you guys think? Will the haters complaints be satisfied when the final curtain falls? or are haters gonna hate.

I’ll say this though. S3 needs to drop so we can move on past the Charlie hate! Charlie is my girl!
