Mirage: A Biplane Adventure received a major update on Epic Games Store - - Drone Defense Mode.

Hey everyone!

I’ve just released a major update that adds a new Drone Defense mode to my solo dev game Mirage: Biplane Adventure. Players have to defend against waves of drones, earn upgrades between rounds, and try to survive the chaotic attacks on their bases and ships.

I also reworked the controls and camera system to make the gameplay feel better and more fluid overall.

You can play local split-screen if you have 2 controllers connected to your PC (the drone defense mode and the story mode as well).

The game is currently also discounted as part of the Epic Mega Sale.

Feedback is always really appreciated — especially from players who enjoy arcade flying games or local split-screen experiences.

Hey everyone! Solo indie dev here. I just released a major update for Mirage: Biplane Adventure that adds a new Drone Defense mode, where players fight off waves of drones and choose upgrades after each round.

The mode is fully playable in local split-screen on PC if you have 2 controllers, and it also works with Steam Remote Play Together, so you can team up online as well.

Also improved the controls and camera to make flying feel smoother overall.

Would love to hear what you think if you give it a try.

Any similarity with current world events is just a coincidence.

One thing I’ve noticed as both a player and a developer is that the Epic Games Store still doesn’t have a proper way to display patch notes or update history on store pages.

As a player, I often rely on that to decide whether a game is actively supported or even worth revisiting. Is the dev adding new content? Are there new features?

On other platforms, it’s easy to see what’s changed over time, but on EGS that context is missing.

From a developer perspective, this also makes it hard to communicate meaningful updates. For example, I recently released a major update for my own game , but there’s no built-in way to surface that to people browsing the store page or players who have the game on their wishlist.

Curious how others feel about this—do you think update visibility affects whether you buy or revisit a game?
