So the 2020 Ford Escape is a nightmare?!
I bought a 2020 Ford Escape with 33k miles in September of 2025. I adored my old Focus that died last summer and I was excited to get a new Ford. The Escape has quickly evaporated all good will I had about this brand. The day after I bought it, I realized the usb plugs didn’t work but because I bought it without a warranty the dealer wouldn’t fix it. Then, about three months ago I started hearing a grinding/rumbling in the back and, after googling, I realize it probably needs a new rear differential. And today (after packing up for a road trip for the holiday weekend) the radio just starts blasting static and noise at full volume and it won’t stop. This car is a nightmare and I don’t know what to do. I guess I send a nasty email to Ford complaining about the litany of problems?? This car had less than 50k miles, this is inexcusable. Unbelievable.
