The Weather Conductor (MiniMax H3)

This was my first short film made with Minimax H3. I used KREA 2 to generate the reference images, then used a mix of reference images to video and single image to video workflows in Minimax H3.

I found Minimax H3 much easier to work with than LTX. It follows prompts more closely, and after generating only three or four versions, I could usually find one that was genuinely usable.

The film is far from perfect and there is still plenty I could improve, but I am really happy with it as a first attempt. I would love to hear your thoughts, constructive criticism, or suggestions for what I could do better next time.

Otherwise, I hope you enjoy The Weather Conductor. It was a lot of fun to make!

Is it possible to get better quality out of LTX director or am i asking to much?

Hi everyone,

I am trying to improve the quality of my LTX Director generations and would really appreciate some advice.

For reference:

• Image 1 shows my result using LTX Image to Video
• Image 2 shows my result using LTX Director
• The final three images show my current LTX Director workflow and settings

I am working with a 4090 with 24 GB of VRAM.

The standard LTX Image to Video result looks significantly better. The motion is smooth, the image remains coherent, and the video plays back almost flawlessly.

My LTX Director result has much more visual instability. The movement feels overly aggressive and chaotic, with a lot of flickering, jitter, and temporal noise between frames. I am not sure of the correct terminology, but the overall result looks unstable and unusable compared with the regular Image to Video output.

I would really love to use LTX Director because of the additional control and features it offers. I have also seen some excellent LTX Director results online, but I cannot seem to reproduce that level of quality.

I have already spent some time adjusting the workflow with help from ChatGPT. The example attached is the best result I have managed so far, but it is still not usable.

Are there any settings I should change to improve the quality and motion consistency? Would a different workflow, model, LoRA, sampler, or resolution produce better results? I would also appreciate any suggestions that would work within the limits of 24 GB of VRAM.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I would like to make some Loras. What is the best work flow to make some training data. To make some consistent character image.

I was thinking something like Krea 2 with a master image reference not sure if there is a work flow out there like this, if you have one please share 🙏
