How should | [21/f] show love better to my boyfriend [23/m]?

I [21/f] actually care for my boyfriend [23/m] a lot, like stay awake at night laying next to him thinking how luck I am. Chest hurts when I think about him love. The thing is I’m very bad at being coming off sincere. I’m very sarcastic and I’m quite bad at perceiving other’s emotional reactions.

I’m very touchy and very verbal with telling him I love him and compliments but I don’t feel like this is enough to accurately express myself as I feel It may come off as I’m interested in him only superficially which he’s made comments/jokes about it before. Since I find it hard to tell if he’s actually joking, I’m trying to find ways to show him I care.

We are in a stable relationship but I want to be able to convey how I feel internally, externally and I’ve always struggled with that. I genuinely need advice to show my love for him.

TLDR: How do express love properly as a person who struggles expressing emotions?

Edit: We have been together for 5 years I just feel like I can do more.
