I swear this isn’t a bad faith question. I am a science accepting agnostic not here to challenge the truth of evolution. I know evolution is true. But my specialty lies in the humanities, not science. Can you explain to me like I’m twelve how sexual reproduction came about without intelligent design?

I adore Asian noodles but I don’t have a lot of experience with them, and I want to try some new places. I’m not looking for Ramen. So far, my go-to is Pad Thai but I want to try other things I’ve seen online. Wide noodles with a sweet and slightly spicy sauce is what I’m imagining. Something like the photo? Not sure if I want Korean or some other cuisine. What restaurant(s) and what dishes do you recommend I try? Oh yeah, I don’t eat beef or pork. Edit: Thanks for the recommendations! I tried the Pad Ew Sew at Lime Leaf which friends of mine like. It was fine, but much more gluey than what I was looking for. I took things into my own hands and made my own rice noodles with garlic, peanut oil, sesame oil, black vinegar, soy sauce, chili crisp, honey, scrambled egg, and green onions. AMAZING. Photo below.
