Anti BrainRot Club - Arusha

I'm on a mission to build the most interesting life possible for myself in my 20s, which is why over the year I've been challenging myself to just get off my phone and do at least one side quest with strangers a month. I've been to chess club, book club, board game nights, I've done dinners and runs with strangers, and I even attended lectures.

I've finally decided to start my own anti-brain rot club and every month we'll be doing one book club and some other type of creative, intellectual or offline activity. There's going to be creative roundtables, hikes, mystery movie nights, museum visits, so many cool things. So if you're looking to build a more interesting offline life and you want to meet cool people, let me know those intrested.

Can Framer recreate this Instagram Stories-style video navigation effect?

Hi

I came across an agency website that uses a fullscreen project showreel with segmented progress bars at the bottom, similar to Instagram Stories or Snapchat Stories. Each project appears to be treated like a "story," and users can navigate between them while the progress bar advances.

I'm wondering:

  • Is this type of interaction possible to build entirely within Framer?
  • Would it require custom code overrides, or can it be achieved using Framer's native features and animations?

Here is the link to the website https://thiswasmajor.com/

Is it something you would like to join?

I’m organizing the first edition of Makers Café EP01 happening in Arusha on 30th May 2026, and I’d love to invite anyone here who is building something or wants to start.

Intense traffic in Arusha

Arusha traffic has been getting worse lately and it’s not just one area, it feels like the entire city is affected. It’s starting to become a serious issue.

What worries me more is the long-term outlook. With the city growing fast, how are we supposed to handle this in the next few years if there’s no clear plan for road expansion or traffic management?

Curious to hear what others think 🤔
