Punctured Liner

Hello. My contractors worker installed this liner/ bed and proceed to put at least 12 screws through the bottom 1-3 inches. He insisted that by putting regaurd on the screw heads on the Durock it would seal it, when I said that didn’t make sense since the hole was in the liner, then said he could have patched all the holes. I did my homework and realized that this is not acceptable work. He also installed a chrome drain, I had purchased a ss one. I insisted that he pull it all out and start over and since he was going to have to start over that I would like a bonded system for which I purchased everything necessary for a schluter system to be installed. It was installed, again had to insist on a water test (causing further delay) for which he needed to purchase a plug bc he doesn’t do water tests. It passed. Now he is trying to hit me with a 4300 change order after the fact for the delay and unnecessary removal/ replacement of his system. Additionally he is charging 3600 for moving 2 electrical outlets and installing 3 new ones and about 60sq ft of subway tile on the wall behind the vanity. I am more than willing to pay for work , especially good work that was done and before anyone says it, sadly he was my highest bid so I wasn’t trying to be thrifty. Yes, We are currently in the process of trying to separate from him. We have had multiple issues along the way. He had to tear out the original floor that you see above and replace it bc it wasn’t measure properly and I literally had 2” strip around 3/ 4 walls. Is there a way he could have possible saved that liner/ bed, did it all have to come out?

Desk Size Recommendations

Hello. Starting my first wfh job and unsure of how much desk I will need. It's in DRG review, not straight coding but I will have 2 24" monitors and a laptop. I would like to keep the footprint as small as possible but also do not want to make myself cramped. Anyone that has this set up, what size desk do you have? Pics of your setup would be a bonus. Thank you!

Should I Turn Down an Interview Opportunity? Tell Me I'm Crazy

6 year RN with med-sx and wound care background with CWOCN, CPC-A and CDIP. Met an exec from a major insurance company at a seminar recently. She said she had the perfect job for me doing medical policy work fully remote. She took an internal job posting, made it external so I could apply then had me set up for consecutive interviews with the recruiter, hiring manager and then medical director the same day (this coming Tuesday). It all happened very fast, applied Monday and had everything scheduled by wed. I know that this is a huge break, huge and I am so very appreciative. But, I am have no interest in medical policy and do not feel even remotely qualified for this role. I have been really aiming for CDI or something more coding based. I have 2 other remote job interviews in areas of interest this week. Yes, absolutely crazy since I've been applying for months with no takers and now all of a sudden have 3 interviews in a week. Would it be insane to pass up the opportunity to work in policy should it be offered? Has anyone had an RN role in medical policy who could convince me otherwise?

Money is not a huge motivator for me, I would more prefer to enjoy what I am doing have better work life balance and a little less money.

Getting HOA docs is like pulling teeth.

Under contract for a condo. Feeling like we are having to ask for each document separately. Under contract on the 2nd, on the 4th we got the by laws, on 6th we got balance sheets from Jan 2023-2026 and meeting minutes from Feb and March 2026. Now we have requested the reserve study and are waiting. 4 story building with 90units, pool, elevators, needs new roof with 800k in reserves. Tell me if I am wrong but isn’t there a standard packet that is put together for prospective buyers with several months of meeting minutes, bylaws, reserve study etc., basically all of the things?? Condos sell regularly here and I don’t think they are trying to hide anything but this seems unnecessarily difficult and like neither agent was prepared for these requests. Due diligence in this part of GA is normally 5 days, we asked for 10 days to begin with and are now wondering if we will have to extend just to have time to get/ review all the proper documents. Do most people not ask for these things? Are we being too much?
