How much fat should I consume

How much fat should I consume while eating high carb? I’m a very active 22 year old male I train 6-7 days a week along with run 30kms a week on top of training, I’m a carpenter by trade and would be doing 15-20k steps daily on top. I consume high carb to fuel my active lifestyle, but I find if I eat too lean i can feel all my hormones tank and mentally change along with anxiety and a bunch of other stuff. I want to know the amount I should be consuming to shred and too maintain. Also should fats from coconut yoghurt be included too my fat total or should I just total animal fat for hormone production

Quit seed oils for almost two years

I quit seed oils for almost two years. Only home cooked meals and the past 2-3 months I’ve been eating out with friends and consuming seed oils maybe once or twice a week. My face has broken out I assume from consuming low quality foods. I have enjoyed eating out and being social and eating with my friends. I’m stressed as I’ve done almost two years no seed oils and worried I’ve just 180 the other direction and ruined my efforts and worried going down a bad path again. Anyone have suggestions on what to do?

Current transition from carnivore to animal based mainly

I have been off carnivore for a bit now. I am enjoying eating a high carb diet for my gym and fitness. I feel I have more energy then ever. However mental clarity has definitely kept declining over the amount of time off carnivore/keto. Along with shorting of memory and constant brain fog. Waking up in the morning and delaying carb intake till after work roughly around 3:30-4 has helped but still noticeable. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations on trying/doing? I could not see myself going back to no carb as life is a lot more enjoyable with carbs and my workouts and pushing my fitness is fantastic. I couldn’t see myself going back to a no carb diet.

Carbohydrates or fat for energy

Having done carnivore super strict for 7 months. And got good results (internally) physically I suffered. I just don’t understand how fat is supposed to be our main fuel source and preferred. If it takes so long to get so called “fat adapted” if it was preferred wouldn’t the body be constantly trying to get into a fat adaption quicker

7 months carnivore

Ex carnivore struggles with carb consumption and macros, if I eat carbs in during the day I feel bad and this voice in my head eats me alive. I enjoy fruit in my life and I’m happier with it. Need help adjusting. Also unsure what my macros should be, I tried Saladinos calculator but I believe his recommendation is off. I’m 22 years of age I’m a chippy and I train upwards of 4-7 times a week.

Previously was a strict carnivore

I previously was a strict carnivore for 7 months. And had lots of pros along with some cons. I’ve now found doing a carnivore/ slightly keto diet through week (half avocado per day, and this 9 amino sauce) through week and then whole foods diet on weekends works for myself, I would like to know how much fat to consume on a daily basis through week as I do prefer higher fat as I benefit Internally from it mental, cognitive, sleep along with sexual. But I also want to maintain a lean physique as when I go high fat I actually gained weight on strict. My energy levels are currently better doing it this way.

Just the thought of not having certain foods freaks me out again. I need some assistance. I want to get healthy again

I’m searching for mental sharpness and consistent energy, which I can’t archive with carnivore or animal based diet. I either consume carbs and workouts get a bit better but mental clarity and brain flog/ inflammation thrive or I go carnivore and have mental sharpness but workouts suck, life kind of feels boring and your kind of just floating through life

I did carnivore diet for 6-7 months and for the past 3 weeks I’ve yo yoed to a standard American diet, consuming anything really. The thought of a diet or certain way of eating currently is not advertising at all, even animal based I can’t seem to even want to do. Just thought of any restraint or anything makes me feel depressed. I currently feel terrible and have no energy along woth brain fog and inflammation on the standard American diet. I also need lower carbs as body doesn’t do well with them in the diet, leading to binge and more hunger and a lot of fruit is quite inflammatory for myself. Does anyone have a suggestion on what I can do to start eating cleaner again??
