Album recommendations

I just listened to That’s Showbiz Baby! by Jade based on a recommendation on here, and I really liked it! I’m trying to discover more pop classics, so I was wondering if you had any recommendations? I love albums like 1989, Emotion, Ray of Light and Virgin, if that helps. But I also want to expand my horizon, so if you have a recommendation that’s not like these albums, that’s good too:)

what’s with the Pam hate?

I feel like every time I see a discussion on her character or her actions she’s getting dragged through the mud. I get it, she’s not perfect, but I feel like the reactions fans have to her are way out of proportion. Other characters behave way worse and get 10% of the hate. I’ve seen some people say that this is because she’s portrayed as «in the right», but I don’t really think so. During the first three seasons, the show clearly shows that she’s passive, and several characters even states it outright. And I think the whole point of the season 9 arc was they were both in the wrong at different times. I think the show kind of sides with her in the middle of the arc, but it ends with her making a huge life change for Jim. And I don’t think characters need to be morally right to be compelling, interesting or likeable. Michael and Dwight are good examples of that.

Favourite «simple/corny»songs?

I was wondering if there are any songs that you think are not as well written or produced, cringy, or not as profound, but are still of your favourite Taylor songs. When people don’t like it you can understand why, but you just can’t help it. And vice versa: are there any songs that you should like on paper, but it just doesn’t click?

For example: I would choose The Very First Night over Exile any day

A friend of mine asked for book recommendations. She’s not a huge reader, and would prefer books on the lighter side. I recommended the house in the cerulean sea by tj klune, and she loved it! Now she wants more recs, do you have any tips for books that are easy to read, but still have heart, humor, or mystery?
