I live in Dallas and often get Thai and Asian Fusion. I recently had to be in Arlington for a business meeting and my crew went to a place called Thai House. The Thai Basil Stir fry was so good that there that I felt like I had been missing out for a few years in Dallas. I'm looking for new Thai places to try that make excellent versions of this basic dish. Preferably Dallas but open to near Dallas too.

Sometimes my partner and I are not in the mood for the more serious fare on the Criterion Channel. Besides the noir movies (we like them), are there some thrillers, crime capers, or murder mysteries folks can recommend? We like experimental film but sometimes over dinner we just want go with an easier flow.
