Update on my ghost pepper 🌶️ here in the desert 🏜️

I had posted maybe a month or so ago. First time growing peppers including hot peppers. When I originally purchased them I had no idea it was three ghost peppers in the pot. It was stuck in this state of suspended animation and wouldn't really grow. And at the time I had no idea why. 😂 Luckily this subreddit gave me a good education.

I chop the two weaklings off and leave the primary stem. Now it's growing and growing real good. But it just does not want to produce peppers!!! I think I purchased this at the end of February. So it's definitely been a little over 3 months since I've had it.

It produces a flush of flowers and aborts them. A few weeks ago I had one more flush of maybe three or four flowers..... Before it decided to drop those as well. My other peppers are actually producing fruit beautifully.

I'm located in St George Utah, so I live in a very dry and hot desert environment. We've had incredibly hot weather over the last few weeks. Night time lows have been remaining in the lower 70s. We've had about 100° weather for a few weeks now. The funny thing is the other peppers seem to be doing fine and producing plenty of flowers and peppers even in the heat. But the ghost pepper just refuses to give me anything. It's been teasing me for months now!

At this point what's my appropriate form of action? Do I just let it grow and wait till about September/October for the weather to finally cool down to get any ghost peppers? How much bigger is this plant going to be by that time and will it even stay in the pot???

They're all facing East towards the morning sun. They're under a big ash tree and right behind a pomegranate tree. So they get fairly good morning sun while getting a good amount of shade in the afternoon.

My first tomatoes in my dry and hot desert climate.

First year gardening on my own in a hot desert climate. The two in the back are a Celebrity and Better Boy variety. And they have gotten so big! They're so tall that they're about to hit the bottom of the ash tree I keep them under.

My grape tomatoes are just as tall but not as grithy. I'm using ropes and bamboo just to keep all the tomatoes plants up.

I live in the high desert 🏜️ so I keep my little garden behind a pomegranate tree and right under a big ash tree facing east. So they get good morning sun and afternoon shade.

Authentic? Was on a Doors Facebook fan page. Second photo gives more insight

I mean, the photo definitely looks like Jim to me. And I do know they regularly went to Tijuana. What do you guys think???

I'm conflicted about what to do here.

First time growing by myself. Had bought plants at the nursery. And didn't realize that this has three separate tomato plants. The other ones I have are fine. Like a fool I just assumed that this one was a little busier than the other cherry tomatoes.

I'm conflicted on what I should do now. Each plant has tomatoes growing. It's in a 5 gallon pot. What do I do here? Just let all three grow since they're already producing tomatoes?

Need some advice about this ghost pepper

I've had this for about 1 month now since I purchased it. I'm located in zone 9a/9b. And this thing just refuses to grow. I see plenty of flowers but they tend to either fall off once they bloom or they shrivel up into something really small and then fall off. I'm a little concerned about maybe root rot? It's been fairly damp so I've gone a few days without watering now. The top layer of soil is now fairly dry from the hot heat here in the high desert. But I would say maybe about an inch or too deep it does get somewhat damp. Soil meter is reading at about 3 on all sides after about an inch. And today I noticed the smallest Branch sort of wilting to the side.

I am at my wit's end with this ghost pepper. My tomatoes and other peppers are growing fine and great. But this thing has been a pain in my ass!!!! Help!
