I wish they didn’t forget about compound V

The whole first season, the main plot point was that even for existing supes, taking more V supercharges their powers, which is how A train is able to still be the fastest.

They seemed to have completely forgot about it and it would’ve been an easy tool to balance fights, like explaining how homelander was losing to kimiko and butcher before Ryan showed up, or how butcher could hold homelander but not bombsight etc.

It also doesn’t really make sense that the characters wouldn’t use this advantage for the final showdown, unless they’re all morons which canonically they are not due to sister sage…

It also let us miss out on a big spectacle finale of a V’d up homelander at maximum power…

Some farming advice from JP community

Some japanese players on youtube and twitter have been tracking hundreds of runs, and came to a two useful conclusions

  1. There is no discernable change in drop rate for rare memories between hard and normal stages. the main change is experience gain
  2. most, possibly all stages have a possible teleporttal, but not all stages have a possible roulette spawn to give smash/grow points, stamina and velocergy (drony speed up)

So it is likely to be more efficient stamina use to only grind on stages that can spawn a roulette wheel over time. for example 5-19 can't spawn roulette so its not the optimal choice for farming lemon slimes

the red column is whether roulette can spawn, with circle being yes. The first person to start posting this on X did 100 runs on 5-19 and spawned lemon slime 6.5% of the time. 100 is a small sample size, but maybe that information can be useful to optimize your stamina spending

Finally got 3 stars on Wrecktor

I did it in 2:49 but forgot to screenshot. The times I do best is with metal boomerang, queens whip and claws. I don’t use claws to attack, but getting crystal arrow level 2 does monster damage, if I get the bouncing arrow buff, then I try to get all other arrow buffs. If not I get lightning sword /queens sword buffs while maximizing basic attack hits

I use metal boomerang almost the whole time, ult once or twice on the sabercat and can kill it before other enemies can spawn. then save all other ults for wrecktor

When I get to the boss, I use queens whip to ult and then switch back to boomerang to attack inside the buff circle. I make sure to stand perfectly above, below or to the side of wrecktor to make sure the arrow bounces will hit him after hitting the wall. If you’re standing diagonally from him, it’s a good chance he doesn’t get hit by the bounce

Fish in the shows universe are as intelligent and capable of forming friendships as humans and this monster killed 1.4 million of them

This is a reference to the fact that being a theater kid should put you on a lifetime watchlist

How we doing on the gauntlet?

I feel I can do better on the first stage but the firebird always spawns across the map and one shots me with a fireball before I even know it’s there. I wish it would zoom out more to include area that enemies can hit me from
