Assigned seating issues/questions for a son with disabilities.

Assigned seating issues/questions for a son with disabilities.

We are embarking on a cruise with Royal Caribbean on Saturday, and regrettably, I utilized their application to purchase our Southwest plane tickets. Through their app, I provided details regarding my son's low vision and his physical and mental disabilities, which include hydrocephalus with a shunt, cerebral palsy, seizures, low vision, and autistic tendencies such as jumping and flapping. I carefully selected seats that I believed would keep my husband, my son, and myself together to help my son manage the four-hour flight and minimize any potential disturbance to other passengers from his flapping or bouncing.

Upon logging into the Southwest Airlines app to check in, we discovered that our seats are separated. We are in different rows, across and behind each other. I contacted Southwest Airlines Customer Center, and the agent informed me that she was unable to make changes from her system. She added notes to our account and advised me to speak with a gate agent to resolve the issue. Is there any other action I can take to ensure we are seated together?

On the website, it says to let them know 24 hours in advance. Maybe that is why she is making notes in the account that I called. Hopefully, that will help; otherwise, am I hosed?

Have any advice for a mother dealing with anxiety?😮‍💨 Any tips would be greatly appreciated!❤️

Hurt Black-billed Magpie

So I feed a large number of corvids daily (scrub jays, magpies, and 2 crows). The other day, I heard a commotion outside and came out to see a hawk on top of a magpie. My presence scared the hawk away, and the magpie scurried away into a large patch of thick bushes. Knowing I have feral cats around, I tried to get to him but couldn't reach/find him. I didn't see him until the following day, this time by the bird bath/feeders. He isn't flying; he tries but can't. I assume he broke or dislocated his wing because it hangs lower than the other one. He's quite the climber, navigating those ponderosa pines with ease, jumping from our feeding stand to the highest branches! I just can't seem to reach him without him going even higher. I've left water on the ground, as well as unsalted nuts, scrabled eggs, berries/fruits, and grubs. It's really difficult to help when they're injured and still able to move away from you. Is the best I can do to offer a safe space and food and let nature take its course?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here are pictures of the groups I feed, the setup, and the injured magpie.🥰

My mischief of magpies and finally a crow.👏🏼🥰

I live in a rural area of Colorado (Kiowa) on acreage, so I don't have many crows congregating in my area like a city would. I have heard crows before, but I couldn't get them to stop at my place. I figured one day the crow would see all the other corvids I feed (Black-billed magpies, Scrub Jays, Steller's Jays), and eventually, the crow would come to check out what all the bird commotion was. Well, it worked. Now the crow comes every day at the same time, and he finally brought a friend. Just some pics and videos of my friends.🥰
