I've had prior coding experience in middle school with html using code.org and I have an ap computer science class in my junior year of highschool learning javascript. As the title states, what are some things I could do in the future?
I struggle to believe in an all-powerful and perfectly loving God because of the suffering I've experienced and witnessed in my own family. My mother has struggled to afford basic necessities like bills and groceries, and that hardship has affected not only me but my siblings as well. I've experienced how poverty can affect a person's mental and emotional well-being, and being told that this suffering is simply 'God's plan' doesn't answer the question for me. If God knows what my family is going through, has the power to help us, and is perfectly loving, I don't understand why we have to endure this much suffering in the first place. I can't simply accept that suffering is good or necessary just because someone tells me that God has a plan. This is one of the reasons I've become agnostic and deeply skeptical of the traditional concept of God. For 16 years of my life it's been nothing but this and I hate being able to do nothing about this. I just want some answers that's all
Considering everything that's going on right now with the us military and what they've done in the past I've never wanted to be a part in any of that and I wanted to pursue college. My mom has constantly told me that she doesn't have her citizenship because they've denied her and she wanted me to join the military because it would help her out, to add she does have a green card. I just wanted to know anyone's thoughts and I thought it would be better to ask here than any other subreddit
As the title states. I've been working out since I was 14 and throughout that time I never knew what to eat rather than my mom's food because everything else was so expensive and I ended up not progressing the way I wanted to. I thought it would be better to ask some likeminded people here than searching it up
I've been trying to be productive on roblox studio for years and I've never gotten far. Ever since middle school I've had game ideas and I've tried to do modelling, scripting etc; and everything just seems to break when I want to do something and it destroys whatever mental capacity I have to do something with my life. I just wanted to see if there is anyone who's had the same issues as me any feedback is welcome
I'm sorry if this seems like too much but for most of my life I've been through a lot. I've been homeless at some point just me, my mom and my little sisters. My mom is a Christian but I don't see how she has been able to keep her faith for so long. She always keeps saying things like "Only God knows" and since I've been a kid nothing has ever gotten better. I've even tried explaining to multiple people who now dislike me that it would make no sense for God to be some kind of deity and just let people or anyone suffer. I apologize if my knowledge isn't too broad on God or Jesus. And another thing there are obviously people who exist who only want to make life worse for other people who may be innocent or just a regular person. Things like racism, capitalism these have only existed for so long because of people who've acted in the faith of Christianity I believe.
As the title states. I wanted to get into engineering when I'm older and I just wanted to share with everyone here. I'm 16 going into my junior year of highschool and I'm not too good at math but I'm always willing to get better. If the future if I ever do consider going into this what are some things that I should expect or to look out for. Is there anything that I could use that could be of help?
