Someone brought a WC match ball to my league match this week, and it is pretty lively as some goalkeeper pundits have pointed out. It is super light for one, which doesn't help me catch. I have a lot of matches behind me and I don't let many get through me that I can get to. But I had a hard shot from the 18 make 3 direction changes. It started down to my right far enough that I would have to lay out and get one hand down ASAP as it was really moving, but then moved back towards me and got between my arm and body as I went down, hitting my wrist. Had I known where it would end up going I would have just slid my feet a yard and got down and scooped it with both arms. Embarrassing.
