Weird project: cycling Amsterdam to Oslo with a chessboard, table and two chairs. Anyone want to play / ride along? (mid September)
Hey Amsterdam,
I’ll be in town around 15-20 September before starting a ~2,800 km solo ride to Oslo
The slightly weird part: I’m carrying a folding chessboard, a table and two chairs on the bike
The idea is that I’ll stop and play people along the way. Anyone who plays me signs the inside of the board and anyone who beats me gets to bend part of my route
I’ll probably be fairly easy to beat given that I’m around 1000 Elo :)
Before I leave Amsterdam I’d love to meet local people for some games, and also cyclists who might want to join me for part of the first leg towards Utrecht / further east, or wherever they wish really
This isn’t a race or organized event and I’m not looking for accommodation or anything like that. I'll be completely self-supported. Mostly just hoping to start the trip by meeting some interesting people
