Returning my Carvana vehicle after finding multiple issues on delivery day
I received a 2020 Chrysler Pacifica from Carvana and found several problems almost immediately:
The passenger-side power door would not open properly
The backup cameras did not work
The rear windshield wiper did not work
There was a smoke or burning smell while the vehicle was idling
The vehicle arrived with visible scratches
Because of the number of issues, especially the smoke smell and failed cameras, I decided not to risk keeping it and relying on warranty repairs.
I am returning the vehicle, and Carvana is scheduled to pick it up Friday.
My advice to anyone buying from Carvana is to inspect the vehicle immediately, test every feature, compare the condition to the listing, and document everything with photos and videos. Do not let the 7-day return period expire while waiting on repairs or diagnostics.
A vehicle should not arrive with this many problems on the first day.
