I get that the boys are degenerates, and I used to enjoy the gambling stories. But now every story comes with a “get $10 on Prizepicks” or some shit. It feels sleazy as shit.

I couldn’t care about the morals of gambling, but the whole thing feels like an ad. The management of the channel really are sluts for money. Not sure whether they’ve gone full corporate or still make these decisions themselves, but the barrage of gambling ads have to go.

Tiger and Phil are objectively shitty people. Both have repeatedly blown up their own lives only for the golfing world to welcome them back with open arms. Had it not been for LIV, i am pretty sure even the latest batch of shit would’ve been squashed.

Now I am a firm believer that athletes never asked to be role models so we cannot judge them for being shit. My concern is that Phil (a womanising gambling degenerate) was essentially the face of LIV, and Tiger (an addict and famous philanderer) is the de facto face of the PGA Tour. These boys shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near an organisation that looks after the future of young men and women.

I give them their flowers for being really really good at golf once, but of late they feel like the friends who never grew up. They were really good at doing the thing that made them money, but they should not be making business decisions, or mentoring young athletes.

So with 48 hours to kickoff SA Rugby is the first to blink. They’ve dropped prices, across the board, by 50%+.

SA Rugby have created a very dangerous environment for themselves where fans won’t buy tickets in advance, and I support the revolution…
