Inferred file for increase

I filed for two secondary conditions to mental health. I received a decision letter today for them, in that decision letter there was a deferment to 'increase'. I never filed this and now have a C&P exam. I called the help desk and the agent seemed just as confused about the VA putting things that I personally never filed. Should I be worried?

Filed for increase?

I filed for two secondaries for my mental health. Both were denied. In the decision letter it stated my mental health condition was filed for an increase, I never did this, and now my claim is back to step 3. I am currently awaiting a C&P exam. Did I poke the bear?

No backpay?

I finally received a 30% rating for migraines. I initially filed for them in June of 2025. I received a denial in November of 2025 for lack of nexus. I was awarded a 0% service connection in April of this year. I filed a supplemental immediately, and was now awarded a 30%. The letter has my effective date to a day I filed my last supplemental, should it not be effective to the day I initially filed? I feel like I just got screwed out of my backpay.
