Help with Setting up VR

Hi all,

So, I bit the bullet and bought the Dream Air SE (SLAM-edition).

The thing is awesome, and I find VR so much more immersive! Driving feels more natural, and even after 4 laps I already improved my personal bests!

I am struggling with finding the right quality settings tho, anybody willing to help?

If I put everything on medium I get a stable 72fps, matching the native 72hz of the headset at 5K. But on these I find the road-texture virtually non-existing... Turning only atroscopic filtering to improves the road texture a lot, but then I instantly suffer from frame drops.

I struggle to navigate the settings to find a good middle ground, anybody here with more understanding of the settings that can help me get a bit more quality and road texture? I read a lot about MSAA vs DLSS but I just don't see the woods thru the trees anymore.

My PC;

- i5-14600KF

- RTX5070 12gb

- 32gb RAM 3200Mhz

- all game files and steam are on a M.2 SSD

Normally In van easily crank everything up to ultra/max and get stable 120fps on my 5160x1440 monitor, so I feel like it must be strong enough to get a decent image, even with poor optimalisation of the game.

INDX stress test - The toolhead

With all the current commotion around Bondtech and INDX, it seems like we forget how impressive the system actually is.

This print was done first try; within 16 hours, around 2500 toolchanges, and 8 colours. No failures, no failed prints, no intervention. Look at the detail, surface finish, support angles and tiny details!! Try that on your sovol M1D, i'll be impressed if I see it happen.

Sure they messed up BIG with the nozzles, and I don't know any company who communicates worse than bondtech, but don't forget how good the product actually is, and that it is made in a fair working environment, by a (relatively) small team of people.

INBXX Support Topic

Hi All,

Over the past months I have seen quite some talk & questions asked on the reddit forum about INBXX 😄 Since my main support and communication is all done via discord, I missed it completely!

That is why I opened this topic;
Feel free to ask/ share and give feedback regarding the INBXX project or its mods! 🚀

Introduction video;
- Introducing; INBXX - Ready for the Future of Multi-Nozzle Printing

For anybody who does not know what INBXX is, and what solution it provides;

“The Cause”
INDX for CORE one is an amazing system, with a carefully planned, tuned and engineered filament path. They are however limited to either storing the spools on the machine, and so their research led to the sides of the machine being the most optimal way.

“The Situation”
Having them stored on the sides requires an additional 10cm of space needed for the spools, plus another 15cm on each side to comfortably reach around and (un)load them, resulting in a total needed desk space of almost a meter (92cm)

“The issue”
I do not have a big room. I want to be able to put the printers right next to each other, or against a wall! While I am at it, let's fix the awkward reach around as well, so I can actually do the entire operation of my machine fully from the front!

“The Fix”
So that is the main driving factor behind INBXX; I want to save 40cm of deskspace (width), I want to be able to operate the machine completely from the front, and  maintain filaments in an optimal environment. While I am at it, let's make it look in-line with Prusa, a fun project to build, and at an reasonable & fair price.
