Something important I wanted to say about this video

Something important I wanted to say about this video

Around the 8th minute fett mentioned how big is the gap between the casuals who think their favourite streamer is the best player and the actual players who deserves to be in the contender of actual best, he questions why is this the case and I think I know the reason

back in like y2-y4 people actually had more ball knowledge than today in terms of the esport for multiple reasons:

1- The best player of that generation (pengu) actually was a content creator who pulled 100-200k viewers on his video pretty frequently, fett's average for example is 25-40k and he is supposed to be the CC who represents the esport side of this game and he isnt big enough compared to prime pengu views wise, so obviously the casual reach for the esport will be less since its biggest advertiser fett isnt big enough sadly, nowadays the best players arent popular because they are the best in pro league, they are popular because they are the best players associated with jynxzi, spoit is the only CC who actually has stemmed from competitive play and not jynxzi but the problem is that he himself got signficantly more popular because of jynxzi, spoit had less viewers he was barely hitting 1k on his streams until jynxzi came in and doubled his numbers minimum, the biggest evidence of this is how braindead his fans are they are somehow less knowleadgable than stompn fans and that's because they did care about spoit because of the jynxzi 1v1s not his pro play

2-another problem is that pengu isnt known for the new gen comm, they dont know him at all and it feels like all the oldheads who were fans of old g2 simply got older and stopped caring about the game and now after jynxzi revived the game the comm is full of all of his braindead fans who obviously doesnt know who is pengu or any of the older g2 is and ubisoft failed miserably to market the esport for the new fans who came from jynxzi, jynxzi himself doesnt care about the esport and that doesnt help too, I think the game was meant to die at the end of 2022 or something after all the older heads lost interest but jynxzi booming gave another life for this game

3-ubisoft is ASS at marketing they are genuinely horrible, one example of this is tiktok it should be way more active for this esport since most of the casuals and younger generation open it , I dont use tiktok like before but almost all of the TTs I saw is about jynxzi or a spoit slop video or royalpenguin saying the new changes for the game lmao

this is simply not true for other esports like rocket league for example where the pro play shows pretty frequent on it

About outlast and new signing

I watched iconic in element, I am happy he returned back but honestly I werent impressed when I saw him and the entirety of DZ acad in general except for maybe kiru, I hope he succeed but I still have doubts whether or not he should be back in T1 in less than 3 months playing comp

same goes for tyrant and joystick, I dont know if having 3 players who arent 100% ready to return back to their old form in one team is the right decision since you pay visa for these players too

it is unbelievable how good brazil is at siege

they have noticeably less playerbase than EU and NA yet they are better, less clouted players in general like people glaze the shit out of NA players here just to get dunked on for the billionth time against brazil

brazil is truly the daddy of siege

Important Note about CAG last DBNO episode

Mint mentioned that they are scrimming NA team more frequently now, I dont know since when they start scrimming NA but maybe this is a big reason why they improved

I know this got talked to the point of being boring But am I the only one who doesnt see the current g2 lineup living up to the hype even with time together? they have extra firepower but their objective play is lacking due to the players they have

I think they will always e a top 8 team however I dont see them winning a chip, teams needs someone like spiritz or any other support oriented player

A controller player won T2 while being the MVP and going +81, this is somehow even more impressive than packer T2 legacy

is this the first time ever NA come to an event as the main contender? I dont mean a single team like m80 in munich for example I mean the entire region as 4 teams, it was always eu or brazil

who is the best player you dont rate him super high despite his influence on his team?

I dont mean an "overrated" player, I mean a player who you think is good but still doesnt rate him as high as other players

maybe the " mailbox" team identity wasnt bad at all

people here were asking if the new dz team will work since it doesnt have a true entry yet look where they are now, they had more aggressive players in ashn and benja yet they were worse especially against international teams , once na believed in its slow identity they won another major

are FaZe the undisputed goats if they win SLC?

many people already considered them the best ever but if they win this then it becomes a no brainer no?

Savage spotted playing with gunnar and fabian in ranked

He plays from eu on na servers and I doubt he would do that unless its basically confirmed he is on m80
