Looking for Rp Partners
Hi! I'm Midnight, and I've been roleplaying for over 25 years. I started back in 6th grade on Neopets and have been hooked ever since. Over the years I've roleplayed on Neopets, Gaia Online, ProBoards, Flight Rising, and other writing spaces. I'm always looking to meet new people who genuinely enjoy collaborative storytelling.
My writing style is generally semi-lit to literate, depending on the scene and my partner. I don't expect novels every reply, but I do enjoy partners who like to read and write. Give me something to work with. Whether it's a few paragraphs or several, I appreciate thoughtful responses that move the story forward. Quality matters much more than word count.
I write both male and female characters and am comfortable roleplaying straight, gay, bisexual, and lesbian characters. I enjoy creating diverse casts and letting relationships develop naturally based on the story and the characters involved.
I'm perfectly fine with romance and even ERP when it naturally fits the story, but I do want to point out that there's a difference between erotic roleplay and simply sexting or cybering. I enjoy stories first and foremost. Character development, worldbuilding, adventure, relationships, conflict, and plot always come before anything else.
Fantasy is definitely my favorite genre, but I'm very adaptable. Over the years I've done just about everything imaginable, including:

- Canon fandoms (Harry Potter, Charmed, Wolf's Rain, InuYasha, and others)
- Horse roleplays
- Stray dog and animal roleplays
- Escaped zoo animal roleplays

- Vampire and demon stories
- Furry and anthro roleplays (I especially enjoy worlds where humans and anthro characters coexist)
- Post-apocalyptic settings
- Steampunk
- Horror
- Dark fantasy
- And plenty more
If the story sounds interesting, chances are I'm willing to give it a try.
What I'm really hoping to find is a long-term roleplay partner (or several). Someone who genuinely enjoys writing and misses the days when roleplaying was about creating great stories together. It sometimes feels like a lot of people today are only looking for ERP, and while I don't mind adult themes, I want a complete story with adventure, drama, humor, worldbuilding, and memorable characters.
As for reply length, it really depends on the roleplay itself. The more detail and substance I'm given to work with, the more I naturally have to respond to, especially when there's plenty to build on. I enjoy detailed responses when the scene allows for it, but I prefer roleplays that flow naturally rather than getting stuck in rigid expectations or long planning stages. I enjoy brainstorming, but I'd much rather dive in and let the story and characters develop organically.
