Looked through my widescreen screenshots, isolated some that could work as desktop backgrounds, and wanted to share. This batch is Torgal and some other animals. The first ones are from early in the game, and each next one goes further in the story progression, so scroll through at your own risk (or don't, if you are just at the beginning of FFXVI journey). OK. Took me a bit, but I started uploading the FFXVI Game Movie edit I’m working on (4K 60fps) broken into ~40-min episodes. This is the version I wanted to see, never found online (the ones I watched left me wishing certain things had been cut or paced differently), and finally decided to make my own. Three episodes went up today as well as one episode of side quests (they’ll be in a separate playlist). Will release the rest gradually since I’m still working through it. The playthrough was edited to maximize the cinematic experience while preserving all relevant scenes and dialogue as much as possible. Combat and connecting segments were either heavily edited or removed to smooth the pacing and increase visual impact. The combat scenes are centered around the dialogue - I had to alter my combat style (slow down a lot) in order to capture the lines accurately and give myself enough footage to edit (took multiple takes, especially when I first started). This is my first recorded playthrough, so comments and feedback are welcome.

Played the game initially when it first came out (PS5) and loved it. Finished it 3 times with the 3^(rd) being me playing and my boyfriend watching (he loved it too). Played the first DLC when it came out, but then kept postponing “Rising Tide”. So, finally, decided to play it and got sucked right back into it.
As a result, bought a PC version (EPIC games has a 60% sale until 7/30/2026), finished the first run yesterday, and about to start FF mode.
I just can’t get enough of this world!
For context, been playing FF games for years starting with the original FFVII and then going both backwards and forward, and I don’t mind the changes in combat style as long as the stories stay good.
