I love FF16 but because I love it I analyze too much. It feels like I see more flaws in what I like.
FF16 has huge plot holes and problems.
Too Clive-centric, not well written female characters, the major plot hole of Joshua hiding from Clive never explained, everything about Benedikta.
I’m just glad I can still enjoy it so much.
Is anyone else the same?
FFXVI’s character designs and cinematics are amazing, and while Benedikta isn’t my favorite character design, these screenshots still came out sick. The dark aesthetic, her outfit, glowing eyes, and transformation into Garuda all work so well. These look like they came out of a dark fantasy movie.
Say what you want about XVI, but the art direction is fantastic. I’d love to see more Final Fantasy games go for this darker, more mature style.
Looked through my widescreen screenshots, isolated some that could work as desktop backgrounds, and wanted to share. This batch is Torgal and some other animals. The first ones are from early in the game, and each next one goes further in the story progression, so scroll through at your own risk (or don't, if you are just at the beginning of FFXVI journey). May post more later. Enjoy!
you can't tell me clive don't do this if you procrastinate the sidequests until just before the end of the game
The time I playthrough the game, I found it funny how almost every faction gave you the secret badge,
This game is peak aura and hype moments. My first PT was such a blast, but sadly the ending wasn't for me. I'd only ever played 7 Remake, Rebirth and Crisis Core so this was my first FF outside of 7.
Hey i want to sell my Figur cause i need Später anyobe interessted
hello! i vaguely remember a scene where clive takes jill's hand to help her step off of a rock (i believe?). very gentleman-like.
i wanted to show my partner that scene because he doesn't remember it from his playthrough, but i didn’t clip it. i could've sworn it happened. however, i can't find the scene anywhere online.
does the scene exist, or did i imagine it? and if it does exist, does anyone have a clip so i can show him? let me know! :D
This is one of my favourite games… and while i have my faults with it, I am really sad that a lot of people won’t give it a chance and experiment with the combat because years later i’m revisiting this and playing rusty but it’s just so damn fun, there’s sooooo many things you can do, it’s crazy.
What a shame most people think it’s just press abilities then one combo.. FFXVI had heart and it deserved better. I dearly love the story, characters and the music… and the gameplay, WHERE do you get these epic fights?!
💪Game rocks!
I've been playing FF16 again, its my second run on NG+, Final Fantasy difficulty, and Total War recently and I've been thinking about how would a FF16 Total War work/look like.
It's a thought experiment I plan on fleshing out in individual posts later on, it'll mostly be texts with some edited images of the map from the Logos book. I do want to work with artists to explore this hypothetical in terms of Units and Character redesigns to fit this "alternate timeline", but all that will have to come later.
