Son Getting 2007 Dakota Quad Cab
My son started driving this year & I have a family member who wants to give him a 2007 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab SLT 4x4 with the 4.7L V8 & 5-speed automatic transmission. Is there anything I should watch or be planning on doing to it to help him make it last. The goal is to have him a solid vehicle for the rest of high school & beyond. (It might break 100k miles by the time he takes it over this summer.) If anyone has any tips / tricks / suggestions for maintenance or anything else I’m all ears. I know he’s talked about upgrading the radio only because he wants to be able to have his music from his phone but I’m debating doing an FM transmitter to allow him to do his music that way.
