Looking at doing this same mod on my DA when it arrives, however instead of using the top USBc port for the audio connection as I need it for other accessories, can I use one of the ones on a side stem instead and just modify the plastic adapter clip to make room for it?
Do we know if it is the left or right stem that handles the audio?
So i was very close to buying just the lighthouse model of the DA, but heard how much better the SLAM tracking has been and would like to use it for seated sims and flat2vr games to future proof myself when my knuckles and lighthouses die
However, certain games like beat saber/fallout/skyrim I would still like more precise tracking with the knuckles. I still have all the stuff from when I modded my G2, so should I be able to strap a vive tracker to the DA and use dongles to use my knuckles just the same through steam VR?
